Description:

A slender palm with a solitary trunk. This species grow on seashores. Leaves are pale green in color and are about 6 feet long with a curved pendulous silhouette. Trunk is densely covered with old leaf bases. Leaflets are short sharp and pointed at the tips. Has deep yellow colored inflorescence. Ovoid fruit ripens from bright red to violet-blue.
