Description:
Rare in the wild, but cultivated as a house plant. Can later be acclimated to full sun in your garden and grows to about 15 feet tall in southern California. Trunk has yellow rings and crownshaft. Also known as the Areca palm or the Butterfly palm. In northern California this is usually a house plant.
